THE PROBLEM SPACE

We build miniature radar seekers for autonomous drones. The hardware must survive high acceleration, extreme vibration, and heavy EW clutter. You will fit a full radar signal chain into a highly restricted payload volume. You must detect maneuvering, low-RCS targets at high closing velocities. You will manage thermal dissipation and RF isolation in a very tight space. You will work with unfamiliar materials and integration techniques to meet strict SWaP limits.

WHAT YOU OWN

You own the radar architecture from the waveform math to the physical antenna. You define the fast-chirp FMCW parameters and the detection strategy, including range-Doppler processing, CFAR, and angle estimation. You set and manage the system budgets for SNR, power, and thermals. You select the frequency band and design the physical antenna elements. You prototype integration approaches like substrate-integrated waveguide and launch-in-package. You design corporate-fed and series-fed networks, controlling amplitude and phase to hit specific beamforming and sidelobe targets. You design MIMO arrays, managing element spacing, channel isolation, and virtual-aperture formation. You build the digital twin of the sensor to track real-world phase noise, PA compression, quantization, and mutual coupling.

PROOF OF EXECUTION

We do not look at your degrees. Show us the hardware you built and tested. If you have only built a single antenna in your career and simulated the rest of the system, do not apply. We want a track record of shipped physical artifacts. You must provide measured data from a VNA or anechoic chamber to prove your designs work in reality. Speed wins over perfection. You must parallelize your work streams. There is no time for sequential engineering. Show us how you move fast, solve phase-coherence problems in physical hardware, and correlate measured results against your EM simulations.

OPERATING BASELINE

This role requires your daily physical presence in our Kyiv lab. We move from the test bench to live field validation in days, not months. We provide a top-of-market base salary, founding equity, a relocation bonus, company housing, and a daily allowance. We remove all financial and logistical friction so you can focus entirely on shipping hardware.
