Hardware startups do not follow clean org charts. The hardest bottlenecks always live in the gray areas between mechanical, firmware, and RF. When the core team is heads-down pushing the main architecture, problems pile up. We need a high-IQ outlier who can parachute into the ugliest problems in the lab, learn physics in 48 hours, and kill the bottleneck.

You own the gray area. If we capture a competitor's radar or a downed drone, you own the teardown. You decap their chips, reverse-engineer their RF routing, and figure out exactly why their signal-to-noise ratio is better than ours.

If the hardware team is manually probing 50 boards a day and losing time, you step in and build an automated test rig using Python, a 3D printer, and a custom PCB to do it in ten minutes. You build the tools, hacks, and physical systems that let the rest of the company move twice as fast.

Show us the weirdest, hardest things you have built or torn apart. Show us how you reverse-engineered a commercial drone to understand its comms protocol. Show us a side project where you had to learn PCB design, C++, and mechanical CAD in a single weekend because you were obsessed with the result.
