We are scaling Valkyrie Dynamics. We build miniature radar seekers for interceptor drones.
The hardware is working in the field. We are now expanding the core team.
We are hiring a Jr/Mid SW Engineer [Kyiv].
You will build the onboard and ground software that ties our hardware together. We expect fast problem-solving and a drive to ship code that flies.
What you will do:
- Onboard Software: Build and maintain real-time software running on the drone’s compute.
- Interfaces & Comms: Implement the protocols that move data between the radar, flight controller, and ground.
- Test & Ground Tools: Write the tooling the team uses to log, replay, and debug field tests.
- Abstract Thinking: Solve problems rapidly and reason about system-level software architecture.
- Mentorship & Growth: Be highly coachable. You will work directly under our Senior SW Engineer to absorb real-time and embedded software practices.
What we expect:
- A formal CS or EE university degree OR a proven track record of shipping real software in a commercial setting.
