We are scaling Valkyrie Dynamics. We build miniature radar seekers for interceptor drones.
The hardware is working in the field. We are now expanding the core team.
We are hiring an Operations & Supply Chain Lead [Kyiv].
Your job is to maximize engineering velocity. You are the operational engine of the Kyiv R&D lab, the reason the team never stops building over a missing component, a customs delay, or a facility failure. You own the physical, logistical, and administrative reality of the lab with extreme ownership.
What you will do:
- Procurement: Order components (PCBs, microcontrollers, mechanical parts) the moment engineering hands you a spec.
- Customs Expediting: Track every inbound international shipment, manage import declarations, and push critical-path hardware through Ukrainian customs with zero delays.
- Last-Mile Delivery: Receive incoming hardware and put it directly on the requesting engineer’s bench.
- Lab Infrastructure: Own the physical space. Keep the network up, the 3D printers stocked, and desks, monitors, and power in place before anyone is blocked, and manage the landlord, ISPs, and service vendors.
- Local Admin & Deployment: Handle contractor payments, receipts, and the lab ledger, and run relocation logistics for international engineers deploying to Kyiv.
What we expect:
- Fluent in Ukrainian and English. You will navigate local government entities and an international engineering team daily.
- Relentless. You do not accept "it is stuck at the border" as a final answer; you push through bureaucracy until the objective is met.
- Hyper-organized and systems-oriented. You run on strict tracking, spreadsheets, and checklists, and thrive in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
- A background in logistics, supply chain, or technical office management (handling hardware, electronics, or defense procurement is a major plus).
