Valkyrie Dynamics builds miniature radar seekers for drones.

The hardware operates in the field. We are now increasing the size of the core team.

We're looking for a Senior SW Engineer [Kyiv].

You own the onboard software stack. It fuses the radar data, it communicates with the flight controller, and it closes the control loop.

The system must stay stable at high speed.

What you will do:

Own the onboard software stack. It moves the data in real time from the radar, through the tracking functions, to the flight controller.
Decrease the latency. Measure the stack, then rewrite it until the loop closes in milliseconds on a small processor.
Design the interfaces between the hardware, the firmware, the models and the flight control. The result must be one system.
Build the ground tools and test tools. The team uses them to replay flight data and to find the cause of a failed test.

You get a competitive base salary and possibly founding-level equity.
We pay all relocation costs if you move to our laboratory in Kyiv. You do not need to speak Ukrainian.
You move your hardware from the bench to a field test in days.
